Ready to rock. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for tuning in to today's episode. We hope you're doing well. Before we get started, if you can hit that like button, share, subscribe, follow us on social media. We are on all platforms, including TikTok. We're glad you guys are here. Welcome all. Gabe, how you been, man? How you how you doing, man? It's been uh staying busy. Staying busy. That's good. That's good. Staying busy is good.
SPEAKER_01Making sure the calendar is filled, making sure we're always on the move, staying active. Um, even though some chapters have closed, now kids are home for summer. So, you know, now it's just planning out how's the summer gonna look, how we're gonna keep them busy, whatever. Summer definitely busy. Yeah, so like, you know, we already me and my wife started to make a list of things we could do, places we can go, we can take them, you know, that um that it's not saying we just gotta break the bank with everything we do, because you know, things just keep going.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, not helping.
SPEAKER_01So we're trying to find um some cool things we can, fun things we could do with the kids this summer, just you know, especially if it's good weather. We yeah, we want to be out as especially with the heat, man. Yeah, as much as we can, you know what I'm saying? So um not just just doing that. I mean, um in church we're we're staying busy, continuing to work. That's good. Um trying to just like I said, I think in everything, I just want to keep doing this. I don't want to stay stagnant. Anything because when when I stay stagnant is when I get a little lazy and it's like when I sit down. It's like I don't want to get back up and do that now. But but once I'm moving and I'm going, it's like let's get it done. Let's get let's let's rock. So, you know, just trying to fill the calendar as much as we can.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And the the weather definitely helps. It's been um a little warm here. Uh I think we just got up for heat wave. I think it's gonna rain the next couple days. But I I'm the type of person that when the sun is out, I don't like to be indoors. I don't know. I don't like to be indoors. I'm gonna be out. I don't know what it is, but these last couple days, it's like I get home, I feel that air, and I'm just like, yeah. I want to go take a walk. I I'm I'm no, I'm I'm gonna sit down. He's like, no. No, no. You know, you there's always things, you know, you do around the house. If not, you're preparing for the weekend, whether you bring in sermon, Bible study, whatever it is, it's always good to um, and that's something that I've been trying to do more of is getting into um the word just a little bit more. Um, just having that time with the Heavenly Father opening the book, because we've said it here before, right? And and and for us to say it and not practice it would be a little hypocritical. So I'm trying, not to say I'm perfect, but I'm trying. Um, but we basically um for this episode, we wanted to to uh bring a verse for you guys and and kind of elaborate on it, right? Because um I was um studying about in the book of John, uh chapter 10, verse 7, that says, Then Yeshua said to them again, most assuredly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. And I was reading that while I was um doing a study, and you know, I I'm a very like I like to break down the words, you know, why why was it said like this? Why was Yeshua compared to a door, Gabe? Like what, like a door? If you just look at, in essence, what a door is, okay, you have to touch it, you open it, you enter into something different, whether it's from one room to another or your the the door of your front house, you're you're going into something, something new, right? And I started to just research on that on the door, and it's not that Yeshua, our savior, is a door, it's that because doors open and doors close. But the significant thing about Yeshua being um compared to the door, saying, I am the door of the sheep, is that door is always open. And I started to sit there and think, like, you know, we see door, we we go through a door at least uh several times a day, right? We see doors in our cabinets, you know, doors, front doors, doors to to supermarkets. And I'm sitting there and it's like, but this door is different because it's always open. And it's not just for us, right? And what I mean us is believers, you know, we were raised in the church and we were taught since we were little. But what about the non-believer? You might have stumbled upon this video and may not be a believer or might have a little bit of knowledge, but even to you, it's saying that our savior, our messiah, Yeshua, that he's the door that's always open. Always open to you. And I went down a rabbit hole. I'm I'm looking at references because the Bible is like that, it'll it'll reference him in other places. You guys can even look up the story of Noah, right? Noah's Ark. Um, Yahweh told him to build the ark, and he he build the boat where in a land where they hadn't seen rain in years, and that vessel, that ark, had one door. Yeah. And the door was always open. And he was constructing that for years and years and years. And the people around him laughed at him, they mocked at him, but not once did they peek their head in there and said, Well, what do I got to lose by coming?
SPEAKER_01He was constantly inviting as well. He was inviting, he wanted to.
SPEAKER_00He was telling there's there's there's rainfall coming coming, there's rainfall coming. Guys, prepare yourselves. And people thought he was crazy. But at any given point, if you if you if you went back in time and just were planted in that situation and you were just see this man and the the structure, I actually had the had the the chance to go to um Kentucky and see the replica. And Gabe, I will tell you, just seeing it from afar, you know, people, you know, the people that I was with, they were like, Well, what do you think about it? Because I think that was their second time. Like, what do you think about it? I'm like, I I'm speaking I'm speechless. I don't know what to say. And the the clo the the closer you get to it, you're just like, How didn't people believe? It's it's it's incredible, it's amazing. How did people not believe? And in the replica, of course, you kind of enter through the bottom, you don't enter through the door. But they're in within the ark, you there's a cutout, and they say the door, and they kind of explain it. The door was always open. And if you guys know the story, once the door the door was shut, you can you can only imagine the people trying to woo. Wait, wait, wait, I changed I changed my mind. The door was open for 120 years. Yeah, and not once did anyone just say, you know what, yeah, I'm gonna enter into the door. But even Noah said, you know, like Yahweh shut this door, no man can open this door.
SPEAKER_01And it's it's funny the way you said it because I think that's just human nature. We're we're very um reactive instead of proactive. You know, we wait till something has to happen for us to make a decision on what to do. And so, like you said, instead of sometimes heeding warning or or or trying to prepare, like you said, like even though they're trying to prepare you to get you ready, that even though at that moment they didn't see rain, and they were just like, This is a crazy guy, because you said we haven't seen it in a while. But instead of, you know, you know, what if by chance he's right? What if he's right? You know, and starting to to save, even nowadays, you know, even when it when when our heavenly father speaks and tells us um, you know, save food, save these things because times are gonna get worse and all these things, we have now the power to either listen, we have plenty of time now, right? We don't know the time, but like little by little, it's like when I do groceries, just you know, separate some food or or some waters or some things, right? But no, what happens is what happened a few years back. We we we witnessed it that once it happened, everybody was what and then everything was everything blew up, everything we were reactive, you know. Now we want to go freak out, now we want to go get all these things, now we want to do right because now we don't know what's going on, and we're it's the unknown. When we're living our everyday lives and and and just going through the motion sometimes, it's like you know what?
SPEAKER_00We wanna we wanna wait until something bad happens, until you know it, it's it's already too late to say the least.
SPEAKER_01There it is, and like you said, once that door was closed, no man can open it, it was closed, but that's when people started crying out. That's when people like help me, help me, help me, instead of like you said, the hundred and what was it, twenty, I believe it's 120 years, you know, it's a long time making a decision, you know. I'm saying that we're talking about generations have passed, yeah, you know, so there you can't say there wasn't ample time or ample opportunity for for you to make a decision, you know. But what happened that that's just sometimes how our mind works, and and we see it in in our jobs, we see it in school sometimes that we wait last minute to do an assignment or a project, or or we gotta do paperwork at work, and it's like, yeah, I got time, I got time, and then it comes today. I need this today. By this time, you're like, oh, we're freaking out of the power to do this. Yeah, so like it it's it's sadly our nature, but I think that's where once we understand who our creator is, those are the things we have to start getting better at, you know. Like you said, it's it's understanding that a lot of times we want him to always reach us, yeah, and we want him to always come to where we're at. And there's a lot of times where we have to meet him, you know, we have to go into a secret place with him. And we're just like, come to me, come to me, come to me. No, no, sometimes we gotta go and meet him, and we gotta we gotta go and like you said, separate some time with him, and we gotta go and be prepared and and be willing to listen to to what he has for us.
SPEAKER_00Do you do you feel like it's though speaking in modern terms? You know how you have something, right? Because in in in this story, the door is open, right? Yeshua says, I am the door, the door is always open. You ever have something that was um I don't want to say convenient, but you say, listen, um, I we were talking briefly about going to the gym, right? And you say, Okay, I get a membership to X Gym, and I go and I go and I go, and then I saved up enough money. Now I have a gym in my house. But now you always see it, you go less. Because it's like, oh, it's anytime, anytime I can go, but you wait till somebody says, Oh, listen, you have this kind of disease, you have to lose weight. Yeah. You wait until something bad happens, but you're you're like, dude, you had a home gym this whole time. You could have gone anytime you wanted, but you waited until something bad happens. You got bad news to now shoot, shoot over there. Now it's, you know, in this case, we're talking, you know, scripture says at the end times, it'll be like the times of Noah, where people's like, oh, it's it's there. I I know the door is open, but you know, I'm still gonna do, you know, what I do on the regular, and you know, once everything goes crazy, then I'll run over there and try to make my way over there. It's and um, you know, it's unfortunate because it's always there, and that's people's mentalities. But, you know, we have to think that, you know, Yeshua being that door, right? He's calling you, he's making a call to you, right? He says, Come to me, come to me, right? You might be listening to this, this might be a sign. And I I brought this uh uh analogy at my church. Um, and I I was uh bringing the example of a Walmart super center or a Target, right? We've all been to those massive parking lots. You finally find a parking spot and you're kind of far away. And when you come out of your car and you look towards the front of the Walmart or Target, the door is normally closed. So the enemy starts to tell you, nah, the door's closed. It's it's not gonna open for you. Like you've you've done you've done too much. Look at all the sins that you've done. He's not gonna open the door for you. Who are you? And the enemy starts telling you, no, the door's not open for you. The door's not open for you. But you listen to the voice of Yahshua telling you, Come to me. Come to me. That walk in itself is called faith. You start making that walk, you make it halfway there, and the enemy tells you the door's still not open, buddy. I told you, you might as well just turn around. Don't even, don't even look that way. Turn around and get back into your car. No, but you listen to the voice of Yahweh, come to me, come to me, come to me. What happens when you finally get into the front of the door? The sensor picks you up and the door opens. And you start thinking, wait a minute. The door was always open for me. All I had to do was walk to it. And that walk is called faith. You know, just like all those non-believers, this guy's crazy. Yeah, the door, there's this massive door on the side of this boat. Nah, I'm not gonna go in there. This guy's crazy. What are other people gonna think about me, Gabe? What if I go through the door? They're gonna be like, oh, you you agree with this crazy guy? That means you're crazy too. Now, now you're worried about what other people are gonna say about you if I walk through that door. And that's something that we have to rebuke. We have to, when you get those thoughts, now that door is not gonna open to you. You have to rebuke that thought and just keep walking, right? Because he's calling you, he has a call for, he has a calling for your life, and all we gotta do is meet him there. Meet him there. That's it. That's all you got to do, and that's the beauty of it, of our savior, that he he died for us and he's providing salvation. Yeah, right? He's giving it to us.
SPEAKER_01He's he's fighting, he's fighting for you. He's fighting for you, he's fighting for me, he's fighting for you. You know, he's our lawyer. He he's he's he's vouching for us that even though we sin every day, because all of us do, even though we make mistakes, he's going, you know, have mercy, have mercy on them, right? And and the same thing is like the Bible says it is, you know, it says, knock on the door and it shall be open, right? It says, Seek and you shall find, ask and you shall receive. You know, we like to misconstrue that sometimes and and put it to the way we like it, right? It's not saying that, you know, every time we want a door open, he's gonna open it because we want it, or yeah, we're gonna ask him for a million million dollars and billion dollars and all these things, and we're gonna ask him for all these things, he's gonna give it to us. That's what it says, right? No, it's saying, right, he knows the desires of our hearts, he knows everything that you need, he knows everything that I need, he knows everything that you need. What happens is we want a lot of things that are not beneficial to us. Yeah, we want to get to a lot of places that aren't gonna bless our souls and feed our spirits. You know, you know, the Bible says it, like it also says it, you know, put his kingdom first and everything shall be added on to you. The same way, what's gonna be added on to us? The things that were created for us, right? The things that were were were that we need and not the things that we want. We we try to blur the line sometimes and go, well, I have knowledge and I have wisdom and I know my scripture, and gabe, I pray three times a day, so you're gonna tell me that I don't know what's best for me. We're not talking about that, right? What we're talking about is understanding the difference is when we're talking about that he is the door, and the door is always open, and his arms are wide open, right? But at the same time, we like you said, you have to walk to the door, we have to enter into the door, it takes away. We have to, you know, you know, and to do that, we have to understand who he is in our lives, and sometimes that's the difficult part, and that's why you worded it so perfectly, right? That's that walk of faith, because faith is walking, even though we don't know sometimes where we're walking to.
SPEAKER_00And faith is is actually an action. It's followed by an action. Faith without works is dead, is dead. So if when you think about the word faith, there has to be uh uh an action that goes in. And that that action is that walk. And even in even in the verse that I read, he says, the door of the sheep. We didn't even speak about the sheep, right? The the scripture says, This my sheep, they they know my voice, right? And we're his sheep, right? We're his sheep. And when he says, Come, his sheep, they know his voice. And and again, this is there's something beautiful. Um, I cannot stress this enough. I say it in Bible study to the people that that I'm teaching, I'm like, I cannot stress this enough. You will not know the the enjoyment that you get when you open the script. We just spoke about one verse, Gabe. Yeah, one simple verse, but everything that's behind that, the message that is behind that, what he's trying to tell us, what he's trying to tell me, because I'm before I even teach it to anyone, yeah, I have to go through it first. And I read that and I'm sitting there, I'm like, just in awe.
SPEAKER_01There'll be there'll be preachings that I'm preparing, and I'm just sitting there crying because I'm like, I'm like, you're you're messing me up here because I'm I'm preparing this for for your people, and and you're just hitting me direct to my heart. And I think that's that's the difference sometimes, and that's what we're gonna understand, and that's what we're kind of trying to bring to you. Maybe you don't understand, right? Maybe you're you're listening to us and you're going, what are these people talking about, right? I don't understand this, you know. But what we're telling you today, and then it's even without you understanding, I think deep down inside in our souls, there's something that needs to get fed. If you believe or you don't believe, you know, we see it in the world that we live in. We've talked about it many a times that even with your bank account being full, even with material things, people are still missing what they're missing something that's feeding their soul, and maybe you've been feeling something inside and you're missing something, that something's just not off, that you feel there's something more that you have to do, right? That's what we're here to tell you is because this scripture, it's saying it's saying that there's still opportunity, you know. The Bible also says, if there's breath in my lungs, right? If there's breath in our lungs, there's still opportunity, there's still opportunity to get to know your purpose, there's still opportunity to see, find out what's missing in your life, and that's where we're here to tell you that the answer is there. It's saying that he is what you're missing, right? He's saying, Come to me. The Bible says, if you're weary, if you're burdened, come to me, bring it and lay it at my feet. He, you know, he is everything that you need, he's everything that I need. We may think we have all the answers, we may think we know where we're going. And there's many a times where we're just walking in circles, just living life day in and day out, doing the same thing because we think this is the life that we're meant to live. No, we were meant for so much more, and that's where we're here, and we wanted to bring to you guys today that whatever you're searching for, whatever you feel you're missing, in that scripture, it says it right there. If we listen to his voice, even if you don't know where it's coming from, that you can be like Samuel, here I am. Yeah, and let him direct us to him, and that's when the door is gonna open wide, and then we're gonna start to understand and maybe see things in your life, start to shift and go, Where's this been all my life? You know what I'm saying? If we just give it a chance sometimes.
SPEAKER_00And and remember this him being the door, he's also the shepherd, he's also the good shepherd, right? And he takes care of us, right? And again, you might be, you might have stumbled upon this video, you might have made it all the way up to this point, but it's for a reason. And he's calling you, and he wants to give you a new identity. Just like a door, when you enter into a door, you're entering into something new. He wants to give you a new identity. Now, I will say this with warning: do not be like those people in the times of Noah. Oh, it's it's always there, it's always there. I have it as a convenience, so I will just mock it, make a mockery of it. But when everything gets difficult and the and the and the the the water starts hating your head, you want to rush to it. But it's already too late. Don't wait. Do not wait. And if you find yourself in a battle, because we have to also think this is a spiritual battle, the enemy doesn't want you to walk to that door. He doesn't want you going to to Yahshua, to to your savior. He doesn't want salvation for you. This is the enemy. And just like that analogy, he will put thoughts in your head. Why waste your time? The door is going to be closed. Because you've done too much or you've sinned so many times. Why bother? Why are you wasting your time walking to the door? Listen, rebuke, I rebuke all those negative thoughts that you might be thinking at this moment. I need you to see past by it. Listen to the voice, because he wants to save your life on this day. And if you're serious about it, listen, go on your knees right now, lift up your hand and just lay it all at his feet, like Gabe said. Lay it all at his feet. Test it. Don't take my word for it. You have to experience it yourself. But I will say it with a warning behind it. Do not wait. Because the time we're living in now, you don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. The rain can come tomorrow, and everything can be done with. Do not wait. There's no time to be waiting, right? We want to see, right? We want to see our brothers and sisters, our friends, our family all receive salvation. Right? We we want that, right? That is why we we have episodes like this, so we can reach the people, you know. We don't know who are watching these videos, right? We want to reach as many people as we can and tell them about the good news that is Yeshua, the door, the light, the truth, and the way. So we hope this um episode was of encouragement to you. Um, we encourage if you are a believer and you got a family or friend, coworker, whatever it may be, that you feel like this video is gonna touch them, send it to them. Send it to them. You know, this is this is all about spreading it, right? The good news is not about us, it's about him. Share it with someone, right? Share it on your social media, like, share, subscribe. Right? We love you guys. Don't forget to follow us also on social media. Get involved, leave comments down below. We want to hear from you guys. Okay, so we're praying for you guys. We hope that you're praying for us in the podcast. We love you, and again, my name is Zeke, and we're just two dudes in the church.
